Tensegrity Physical Therapy

Precautions We Are Taking At Tensegrity

March 29, 2020 by Tensegrity Physical Therapy

We are taking the following steps to ensure our patients are safe:

1 – We are maintaining social distancing guidelines whenever possible.

2 – Staggered patient start times will decrease the number of patients in the waiting room at any given time.

3 – We have designated entry and exit doors to cut down on the possibility of patient to patient contact.

4 – Anyone who is having symptoms of sickness is being asked to stay home and we are taking temperatures of every patient prior to their visit.

5 – Sanitizing and hand washing has always been a part of our routine but we are even more conscious of cleanliness at this time.

6 – In addition to cleaning the equipment after each patient, we are wiping down all surfaces every hour.

If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to give us a call. The Tensegrity Physical Therapy is here to help!

Covid-19 Business Update: March 29th, 2020

March 29, 2020 by Tensegrity Physical Therapy

Tensegrity Physical Therapy is open and now offering Telehealth Physical Therapy!

We recognize the need for orthopedic care and will continue providing our services in an effort to keep people with non-emergency musculoskeletal issues out of hospitals and emergency departments.

Patients are still being seen in the clinic, but if you do not require hands-on treatment we are providing our services electronically via Telehealth.

By using Telehealth we can connect with you remotely and still offer many of the services that you have come to expect from our team of providers.

We can still perform assessments, develop and progress exercise programs, instruct you on how to perform self-massage and mobilization techniques, and we can even teach your partner or family members how to perform basic musculoskeletal treatments.

If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to give us a call!

Covid-19 Business Update: March 16th, 2020

March 16, 2020 by Tensegrity Physical Therapy

Dear Patients & Families,

We are monitoring the impact of Covid-19 (coronavirus) in our community and are in contact with our local, state, and federal partners. Our top priority is always the health and safety of our patients and their families. There have been no changes to our office or hours of operation. We expect staff who are feeling ill to stay home and request that patients who are ill to reschedule their appointments.

At Tensegrity Physical Therapy, we want to be as responsible as we can by constantly wiping down surfaces and deep cleaning after each patient visit so that we can continue to assist ourselves and our patients. Another benefit is that our facility allows for a comfortable social space since it is 15,000 square feet.

Below are some simple guidelines for your reference:

• Please call to reschedule your appointment if you are feeling ill.

• Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth with unwashed hands.

• Cover your nose and mouth with something disposable (like a tissue) when you cough or sneeze. Throw the tissue in the trash after you use it.

• Clean your frequently touched items (cell phones, door handles, purse straps, touch screens, pens, pencils, school supplies, sports equipment, etc.)

• Clean your hands often by washing them with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or using an alcohol-based hand sanitizer that contains at 60%–95% alcohol. Soap and water should be used if hands are visibly dirty. It is especially important to clean hands after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after coughing, sneezing or blowing your nose

Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions, and we will continue to provide ongoing updates as necessary.

Thank you,

Tensegrity Physical Therapy
