The VO2 Max is a testing and training tool we offer here at Tensegrity. VO2 Max, also known as maximal oxygen consumption, is the maximum amount of oxygen that an individual can utilize during exercise. This test is considered one of the best indicators of cardiovascular fitness/endurance.
If you are interested in learning about your own personal training zones, we can test you on our specialized treadmill and attach a ventilatory threshold to measure your performance capacity and cardiovascular fitness. The ventilator helps us directly measure the volume and gas concentrations of the air flowing in and out of the lungs.
With this information, we can help you establish a baseline to determine progress and where your most efficient fat burning zone is for your aerobic training.
