Ryan is a native of Eugene, Oregon. He attended University of Oregon for undergrad and then went to George Fox University to earn his DPT. With years of experience in outpatient orthopedic settings, he has a foundation in using manual therapy techniques to treat a wide variety of patients, from post-operative to sports rehabilitation. Runners and running-related injuries are of particular interest to him. As a student he was able to travel to Uganda to study body mechanics and compare differences between barefoot and shod runners, to deepen the understanding of the impact footwear has on movement.
In his free time Ryan enjoys running, travelling, reading from a wide variety of topics, and parenting his young toddler.
