Licensed Massage Therapist

Chad McCarty

Chad brings over a decade of experience in the healing arts and a lifelong passion for integrative health. His approach to massage is both intuitive and highly informed, combining deep, targeted work with gentle, effective techniques drawn from osteopathic principles, myofascial release, structural integration, and manual lymphatic therapy, among others. Chad believes that hands-on care should support the body’s inherent capacity to heal, and he works with a clinical mindset grounded in anatomy, physiology, and an ever-evolving understanding of human structure and function.

A graduate of the Northwest Noetic School of Massage in Spokane, WA (2013), Chad moved to Eugene shortly thereafter and earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Oregon in 2020, with a focus on biology and philosophy. His academic background continues to inform his clinical perspective and fuels his ongoing studies in acupuncture and Classical Chinese Medicine, which he is currently pursuing at POCA Tech in Portland.

Chad is also a continuing education instructor for massage therapists and other hands-on professionals, offering courses on fascia, hand health, and career longevity through his education platform, Living Field. He is especially interested in the intersection of modern science, ancient healing systems, and the philosophy of the human being.

Outside the clinic, Chad is a dedicated husband and father who finds meaning in family life, slow food, and time in nature. Whether hiking, reading, cooking, or crawling on the floor with his daughter, he brings the same curiosity and care to daily life that he brings to his healing work. His long-term vision includes building a resilient, community-centered practice that honors the body, the earth, and the innate wisdom that connects them both.
