Jayna is a Seattle, Washington native. She attended the University of Washington where she received her Bachelors of Science in Public Health and Minor in Cultural Studies. As a former collegiate cheerleader and longtime competitive gymnast, Jayna was no stranger to injury, which is where her passion for physical therapy evolved. She moved to Los Angeles, California where she received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Azusa Pacific University. Jayna is also a graduate of Kaiser Permanente’s Orthopedic Residency Program and is now a Certified Orthopedic Specialist.
Jayna’s recent interest in long distance running has turned into a regular hobby. After becoming heavily involved in the running community in Los Angeles, Jayna helped to start a free, community track club while also volunteering her time and physical therapy skills with other local run clubs. It is work with the active population that continues to spark Jayna’s interest and it is her hope to continue participating in the running community here in Eugene.
When she’s not at work Jayna enjoys traveling with her fiancé, working out, and spending most of her free time watching or attending sporting events like Oregon football!
